I was also reading about billing/coding for ADHD screenings, and I learned that Medicare doesn't reimburse for CPT 96110, but CMS created a Medicare-specific HCPCS Level II code (G0451) that can be used in place of CPT 96110. If in doubt, please contact your Medicare Carrier, and submit with the CPT codes 99406/99407 rather than the HCPCS codes.
